Chris Brown Cops a Plea

Dressed in a gray suit, Chris Brown was accompanied into a Los Angeles courtroom by his mother on Monday, June 22. He pleaded guilty to assaulting his former girlfriend, pop star Rihanna. In an agreement with prosecutors that calls for him to spend five years of probation and six months of community labor. In addition to the probation and the domestic violence course in his home state of Virginia, Brown also must perform 180 days of community service.
The judge also ordered to keep distance from Rihanna at least 50 yards from each other, except at industry events when the distance is reduced to 10 yards. Rihanna was told that she would be held in violation of the order if she gets closer to Mr. Brown than its terms allow.
