Chris Brown's emotional performance of "Man in the Mirror" as he tribute to Michael Jackson at the 10th annual BET Awards has impressed everyone.
"You know who stole my heart tonight?" "Hustle & Flow" actress Taraji P. Henson asked during the awards afterparty.
"Chris Brown!" answered Diddy, host Queen Latifah, BET personality Tigger and a group of others in near-unison.
"He was so vulnerable," Henson continued. "I love you, Chris!"
Trey Songz, who took the Best Male R&B Artist award, also went to praise the "Kiss, Kiss" singer, saying, "Chris killed that. He left his heart on the stage. He gave genuine emotion. I was proud of him and I was happy for him for having that moment." Songz didn't mention Brown choking on the lyrics during the song: "He did that justice. Everybody's been waiting for that."
Brown later spoke to the audience as he accepted the award for the AOL Fandemonium prize. "I let y'all down before, but I won't do it again," he said. "I promise."
Finally, Chris Brown got his chance paying homage to his idol, Michael Jackson at Sunday's BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium.
Introduced by Jermaine Jackson, Brown embodied the King of Pop, wearing his fedora and spangled glove and moonwalking across the stage as he danced and lip-synced along to several of Jackson's hits. When it came to sing Jackson's hit "Man in the Mirror," Brown's voice cracked, he couldn't sing, fighting back tears.
Showing off his love, Chris Brown with the help of his BFF Teyana Taylor baked a lovely cake for his new lady Jasmine Sanders' 20th birthday on Tuesday, June 22.
The threesome took some pics during the celebration at the Playhouse Nightclub in Hollywood, Los Angeles, which then the "With You" singer posted on his Twitter.
Chris Brown is up to compete Usher, Maxwell for Best R&B Male Artist at the 2010 BET Awards, which will debut on Sunday, June 27.
In addition, the singer is new in the fourth place trending topic on Twitter on the morning of June 17. The microbloggers are supporting him with the "betchris" hashtag for the award.

The singer plays as Jesse Attica, the runner. "I'm the flashy guy that gets the guys in a lot of trouble at the end of the day," Brown said of his character.
Chris Brown has been forced to cancel his European tour, because the country has denied his application for a visa.
The singer posted an apology to his fans via Twitter, which has since been deleted, saying, "SORRY to all the fans in europe!!! my tour is cancelled. Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. i love you. SORRY!!"
Brown's publicist later issued a statement, "Due to issues surrounding his work visa, Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown's Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support."
